Description teg2010 2010-09-05 12:00:25 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a new spreadsheet.
2. Fill the cells as follows: A1=1, A2=2, A3=3
3. Insert some comments to cells A1 and A3 (e.g. "comment1" and "comment2"
respectively).
4. Select and cut range A1:A3.
5. Move cursor to cell A2.
6. Paste the range (now: A2=1 with "comment1", A3=2 without comment, A4=3 with
"comment2").
7. Save the spreadsheet.
8. Close calc.
9. Open the spreadsheet again
=> Comment on cell A2 is lost.

Testing "OOo-dev 3.3 330m7(Build:9526)" on Fedora Linux 13

I get the same result from the steps described by teg2010.

The problem seems to depend on the overlapping cut/paste ranges. With different
overlap geometry, I can get either the first, or the first /rows-1/, comments lost.

Checking content.xml in the saved document, the comment is not saved in the file.
