Description jnoreiko 2010-09-21 16:49:07 UTC
Problem: CMD-G on OS X does nothing (and hence I assume similarly CTRL-G on
windows/linux)

Expected: on all other apps, CTRL/CMD-G is 'find next'.

@Rvojta: it seems that Command-G is "Find the next occurrence of the selection"
on MAC OSX[1]

Our choice is Ctrl+Shift+F, more intuitive (*F*ind) than "G" in English.

If you decide to align this for the MAC version, please take care about our
Design Guideleines[2] and especially about the localization[3] where "G" is
sometimes already reserved (Spanish "Guardar" = "Save")

On EVERY other OS X app it's:

CMD-F: find
CMD-G: find again.

This is also a standard on GNOME, with CTRL instead of CMD of course.
