Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 11581
Scrollability of Spreadsheet when changing a cellrange
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:12:27 UTC
When I change a cellrange in a formula I miss that the document isn't scrollable during changing by the MouseWheel. It would be very helpful, especially for larger ranges. It's been tested even on the 644, and is not working.
Hi Bettina, one4you
Summary: Scrollability of Spreadsheet when changing a cellrange.
*** Issue 26232 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. ***
Hi, the spreadsheet is not scrollable by mouse wheel *always* when I edit a cell - not only when I change a cellrange in a formula. (I reported this as a new issue 26232, since I thougt that these were two different issues.) I think that this is a "DEFECT" rather than an "ENHANCEMENT", since "mru@openoffice.org" wrote on issue 15169 "I wouldn't treat this as en enhancement. Scrolling via mouse wheel is basic funtionality in the third millennium". Thanks, Arne

Please raise priority of this bug. It looks ugly to have such thing untreated for five years...
Our user reports that this problem no longer occurs since verison 2.4. I cannot verify this since I don't have a mouse wheel.
for me this works in OOo 3.0 marking as fixed!
Verified on AOO350m1 build 9610 (Windows XP). It works from my side. Close it.
