Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 11592
provide localized readme for OOO1.1
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:53:51 UTC
Hi Martin, Is this a task for you or for Frank (readme)?
It is a task for me, to ask for updated localized readmes for OpenOffice.org on the OOo lists, Frank already provided the skeleton, see #i4732.
What about localized LICENSE too?
README*, LICENSE* not copied into lang directories LICENSE and README is only delivered to COPY: ../source/license/unx/LICENSE -> /mnt/hdc2/pavel/BuildDir/oo_11beta_src/solver/644/unxlngi4.pro/bin//01/osl/LICENSE COPY: ../source/readme/unxlngi4/README -> /mnt/hdc2/pavel/BuildDir/oo_11beta_src/solver/644/unxlngi4.pro/bin/01/osl/README even if you build with much larger --lang= settings. I think it should deliver all files to the corresponding lang directories. Thus I must add this to our build script: cp readme.html solver/644/${OOOUTPATH}.pro/bin/42/osl/readme.html cp README solver/644/${OOOUTPATH}.pro/bin/42/osl/README cp LICENSE.html solver/644/${OOOUTPATH}.pro/bin/42/osl/LICENSE.html cp LICENSE solver/644/${OOOUTPATH}.pro/bin/42/osl/LICENSE I'd like to get this removed :-) Are there any plans to fix this for real beta1.1?
fixed now in 20030412.
The commit broke the W32-tcsh build. The following patch should fix this, I will commit when my next tinderbox passes readlicense_oo.
Created attachment 5601 [details] Patch for readlicense_oo/util/makefile.pmk
Committed.
This is still not reflected in beta2 CVS tag. Only 01 got its README and LICENSE.
readlicense_oo/prj/d.lst still does not deliver other language version than 01 and 49.
d.lst contains now other languages. I think we need a lawyer for localized licenses, so I would like to stick with english one as default for now.
README now works. About license: Czech version has translated LICENSE which was provided by Sun Microsystems Czech. It could be the case for other languages too. I think we should provide the same for LICENSE too. Should I enter it as a separate bug for OOo LATER?
verified.
