The configure script appears to be based on a configure script and there is no
configure.in.  The if tests use '[' instead of test therefore the configure
script is restricted to bash or ksh execution.

Convert existing script to use autoconf.   Reassign to waratah if you accept the
issue.

This isn't really a configure script. It is omyl a short script wich
ask some settings and prepare yet another script (setsdkenv_unix)
which can be use to set a minimla build env for the SDK examples.

i will not fix this because i don't see any benefit at the moment and i won't
spend any time on it.
