The SDBC works with OpenOffice 3.2 and 3.3; but with 3.3 it will not permit the creation of a new record.

A new record cannot be entered from Data Sources [F4 key].

A new record cannot be entered from Database Tables.

A new record cannot be entered from Database Forms.


The error has been duplicated with the following configurations.

Windows XP Pro running OOo 3.3, SDBC 0.7.6a and Postgresql 8.4.8

Windows XP Pro running OOo 3.3, SDBC 0.7.6b and Postgresql 8.4.8

Windows 7 running OOo 3.3, SDBC 0.7.6a and Postgresql 9.0.4

Windows 7 running OOo 3.3, SDBC 0.7.6b and Postgresql 9.0.4

Uninstalling OOo 3.3 and reinstalling OOo 3.2 restores full functionallity.

getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.
