Description Judy Jones 2011-05-28 09:01:29 UTC
When I run Calc's "Goal Seek..." from the Tools menu, it runs and eventually displays a dialog box containing:
   Goal Seek successful.
Insert result (nnn) into current cell?
   [Yes] [No]

That is misleading because selecting "Yes" inserts the value into the "Variable Cell" [specified in the initial dialog box] and not whatever cell is currently selected in the worksheet.

There is also at least one other dialog with "Goal Seek not successful".
The one that I have seen does not specify where the result will be inserted.

Also the Help contains:
After a successful search, a dialog with the results opens,
allowing you to apply the result and the target value directly to the cell.

That is misleading because the functionality only allows applying the result [which may not be anything like the target value].
I have OOO330m20 Build:9567

Sorry but I meant to tchange the priority to P5 (lowest).
Comment 2 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2012-06-13 12:32:09 UTC
getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.
Comment 3 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2012-06-13 13:48:13 UTC
changing "issue type" to "enhancement" in favor of "severity=enhancement"
Comment 4 Edwin Sharp 2013-08-23 10:37:34 UTC
Wording need correction.
