Description tracey002 2011-06-16 21:38:37 UTC
I have a problem accessing the User's Forums.
What do I need to do to access the forum (reliably/successfully)?
I posted on Tue Jun 14, 2011 7:43 pm [http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewforum.php?f=7]
Please advise.
Thanks, Tracey
I can log on to support and submit bugs via Bugzilla.
I can get to [http://support.openoffice.org/index.html] while logged in.
But once I click on:
http://user.services.openoffice.org/
then http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/
I am required to log in and it does not accept my log-on ID and password.

Please advise.
Thanks, Tracey
I have not changed any settings and I have not updated any software since June 14th.

Each forum has its own subscriber list, totally independent from Bugzilla.
Click on "Register" link in the forum web page.

I tried registering with a different user name: The entered e-mail address is already in use.
So they all seem to use the same [User Name/Email Address/Password] database.

What more is necessary to access the User Forums than bugzilla?

Can you have or can set up a User Test Name that will allow you to monitor/log my log in process so you can see where it is failing?

Please advise.
Thanks, Tracey

I click on the link from the email I was sent and had the following results:
http://www.openoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=118184

The page you were looking for doesn't exist.
You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved.

Just FYI, Tracey

I logged on (?after someone reset the account?) and updated the password.
The other issue about an invalid link in the email I was sent by open office is still an issue (on your end).
Thanks, Tracey

getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.
