The welcome screen in the StartCenter in localized 340-RC1 versions links to

http://www.openoffice.org/?lang=it

http://www.openoffice.org/?lang=fr

and similar, but the page displays in English.

http://www.openoffice.org/?lang=XYZ

should be redirected via .htaccess to

http://www.openoffice.org/XYZ

at least for those values of XYZ that make sense (or, at the bare minimum, for the native-lang versions we distribute).

As Dave wrote on ooo-dev, this issue is mirrored as an Infra issue at https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4624 where Infra is more likely to take part in discussion; I'll close this one when the Infra one is closed.

This works in 4.1.3 and the INFRA issue at https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4624 is now closed.
