selection issue

Open drawing application => Draw 6 - point star concave => try to select it by just enclosing the edges by holding laptop left button and drag (The object doesn't get selected) => try to repeat by increasing the selection area.

Please have a look, whether the shape is rotated.

Please click on the shape and look, where the handles are placed. Does your selection rectangle contain all handle positions?

Please tell the exact program version. You find this information in menu Help > About Openoffice.org

Yes the selection rectangle contains all the handle positions.
Sometimes the the star object is not selected.

"flip vertical" includes a 180° rotation. You get the error too, when rotating the object with another angle. You have to select an area which is much larger than the handles indicate. Other shapes are effected too. The error becomes bigger with increasing angle.

Should have search with 'Presentation' as well. Duplicate to issue 119211.
