While attempting to change the colour of the text within a text box I selected automatic colour. This caused the program to crash. The same thing happened when I tried it several minutes later. The program also crashed when I was modifying the size and shape of the same text box, several times.

confirmed~

in my mac system,sometimes format shape will lead OO crash,but don't found repeat steps.

Also, the same thing happens when I attempt to change the colour of text highlighting. Applying the highlight colour has no effect but the program freezes and crashes when I attempt to change the colour afterwards, even after saving. Furthermore, some of the highlighted text could not be altered even with the formatting brush. Attempts to change some sections of text had no effect whatsoever.

I cannot open ANY text document to view it or make changes without them crashing immediately and this NEVER happened on the older 3.0 version on Vista and is always happening on the 3.4.1. version on Windows 8. I basically cannot use ANY of my saved documents or create any new ones, very critical for me as I'm a writer.

ALG: Does not happen on AOO3.4.1 on Win7, neither on the same system with curent trunk version.

I can not reproduce this bug on Mac OSX with a 4.0 developer build.  I tried this with a text frame (as created by Insert->Frame) and a text shape (created via the draw toolbar).
Setting status to "irreproducible".

If somebody can still reproduce this bug, please provide more information and a bug doc.  How is the text box created, what exactly is done to trigger the crash, ie what button is clicked.
