Counter background is always black

Steps to reproduce it:

* Open the dialog from menu "Slide Show" - "Slide Show Settings..."
* Check "Type" - "Auto" 
* Start the presentation
* When it finishes, you see a counter on the top left corner

With default desktop settings, the whole screen is black.

With a dark desktop theme, the background color of the screen is the one defined in the desktop theme, but the background of the counter is black.
