Last modified: 2017-05-20 09:44:30 UTC
I like to install Open Office 3.4.1 on my computer running under W7 with an virtual Windows XP. Several month ago I had Open Office running on this computer, but I have deleted the files and all the entries I can find in the Register. For installation I have downloaded Apache_OpenOffice_incubating_3.4.1_Win_x86_install_nl.exe; After that I runned this program under W7. There were installed several files and maps included Install.exe. I have started Install.exe under W7. After that the full installation Procedure is executed ended in the last Window with Message: Installation Voltooid (Completed). Unfortunally there are no options for starting Open Office in the Start Menu, on my Bureaublad What Is possible to use Open Office? Boy van Bilsen
I can not reproduce this bug on Aoo_Trunk_20121214.1915 Rev.1413470 , keep it in uncomfirmed.
Not able to confirm. I'm running Windows XP SP3 via a VMWare Windows 7 x64 host. When I install AOO 3.4.1. I get a start folder called "OpenOffice.org 3.4". I repeated the procedure, with the Dutch install of AOO 3.4.1, to see if there was a localization bug. But the start folders were created as expected.
Not able to reproduce on AOO 3.4.1 on Windows 7, English or Dutch.
