Description Ameneh Sarbaziazad 2013-05-08 02:29:11 UTC
Tested on Windows 8: An unexpected row will be added to the table when you split twice

Steps for reproducing the bug:

1)Open a new presentation document
2)Insert a 2*2 table
3)Click in the top left most cell
4)From the table menu, select Split Cells
5)Let it to be the default value which is to split horizontally into 2 cells and click OK
6)Consider the splitted cell which now has 2 new cells and then click in the bottom one of these 2 new cells
7)Again from the table menu choose Split Cells and repeat step 5
8)You see that an unexpected row is added to the table

I also checked this with Microsoft Powerpoint and it does not have this problem.

I'm able to reproduce this on Windows 7 with version 3.4.1 of Impress.

Seems that this issue occurs because the cell in the right hand column does not expand downwards. I've attached a file where this occurs. The issue can be easily reproduced by splitting the cells in the left hand column a further 2 times.

1. Select row 3 and choose the Split cells option
2. Select row 4 and choose the Split cells option
3. Issue can be seen

Right hand side column should stay with two rows but has three rows after step 7.
