I think a macro with the macro recorder, or write a macro in basic, with the dialogue "Find / Replace"
I have selected "regular expressions"
I run the macro
Now in Writer, Calc, etc, Find / Replace presents "regular expressions" selected
Also for other options

After running the macro, Find / Replace should reset options

Ejecuto la macro
Ahora en Writer, Calc, etc, Buscar/Reemplazar presenta "expresiones regulares" seleccionado

Tras ejecutar la macro, Buscar/Reemplazar debería resetear las opciones

Confirmed on 4.0 on xubuntu.
But also true with a standard F&R action.
The dialog keeps in memory the last parameters. Could be a feature but keeping the options in the More options section can be missed by the user and result in unwanted changes (or missed occurrences).

Either reset all the options or show the More options sections if at least one of these advanced options is checked.
