Steps how to reproduce with  "AOO 4.0.1 – German UI / German locale  [AOO401m3(Build:9712)  -  Rev. 1520285 2013-09-05 13:52:01]" on German German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", Common 4.0-dev User Profile

1. From AOO Start Center open new Calc Document
   > blank new document "Untitled 1" appears
2. Menu 'File -> New Spreadsheet document'
   > blank new document "Untitled 2"  appears
3. Menu 'Data -> Filter -> Advanced Filter'
   > Filter dialog appears 
4. Menu 'Window -> "Untitled 1"
   > View switches to "Untitled 1"
5. Menu 'File -> Close'
   Expected: Document will be closed
   Actual: Nothing happens                                         :-(


Additional info:

a) Very old issue, I already see that in OOo 1.1.5, but I did not find a DUP
b) I did not find an other dialog causing that problem, but I only did a 
   small sample
c) Only closing of other Calc documents is be blocked, no problem with opened 
   Writer documents 
d) With open 'Advanced Filter' document it is possible to create new Calc 
   documents via menu 'File -> New -> Spreadsheet document', but it is not
   possible to open existing Calc documents, menu item 'File -> Open'
   is greyed and inactive, in document with open Filter dialog and also in
   other Calc documents.

Still Reproducible with  "AOO 4.1.0-Dev – English  UI / German locale - [AOO410m1(Build:9750)  -  Rev. 1521488 - 2013-09-11]" on German WIN7 Home
Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile.

It doesn't make sense to filter blank documents but also documents with data exhibit the problem.
