Alan Hancock [November 14, 2013] AOO401m5(Build:9714) - Rev. 1524958 Windows 7 I was able to reproduce this bug by opening a new document in Writer and doing the following: 1. Type “Chapter 1”, “text text”, “Chapter 2”, and “text text” on separate lines in that order. 2. Set the lines of text Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 to the style Header 1. 3. Now, in the Styles and Formatting tab, right-click Header 1 and select Modify. 4. Move to the “Indents & Spacing” tab and alter any values under the Indents title. 5. Select OK. 6. Notice the disparity between Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 where one is indented and the other is not. By attempting this also with the other heading options (specifically Header 2 and Signature), I find this is a consistent problem among the styling options in general (not just Header 1). This implies the issue lies within the mechanism of updating the style consistently for all instances when editing the style for one particular location. This bug being resolved would be important for the authors that rely on them for consistent headings in a large document. However, the bug is not critical for the community at large and should not be held as a priority. This bug can be worked around by altering the indent values for each instance of the style within the document.
