Description mnalyousif 2003-03-16 17:41:53 UTC
This is reproduceable in 644 (snapshot downloadable on 03/15/03)

From Windows/XP, starting a search on a connected database crashes the
application (OOoWriter) with "An unknown error occured. The search could not be
terminated!"

works ok on the same database and same queries with OOo 1.0.2 fine.

mnalyousif, when you say "crash", do you really mean crash in the
sense of the whole application terminating, or do you mean that the
error which you cited is shown? This is a little bit unclear to me ...
Comment 2 mnalyousif 2003-03-24 09:11:07 UTC
The application terminates (nicely, ie gives you error notices) with an
"unrecoverable error" and then restarts asking if you want to restore
 the previous file.

Does it still crash with more recent beta builds of OOo 1.1?
If it happens with OOo1.1rc1, please submit a crash log.

I corrected the priority to P2; crashes are always P1,P2, or P3, I think

Please try using the latest OpenOffice 1.1 Final , you can download it
from www.openoffice.org
many bug fixes and enhancements since your version and 1.1 Final . If
the problem still happend in 1.1 please report back
It maybe not yet solve your Issue, but it worth to try.

Hi,

This issue seems to be fixed, because no comments from the reporter
since half a year.

I close this issue as fixed.

Bye Marc
