Description Unknown 2003-03-16 22:14:57 UTC
HI,

while using an vertical introduced desktop area (with Matrox G450 DualHead -
MultiDisplay configuration), all the fonts used in documents to be edited and
the complete editor area are scaled up relative to the size of the enhanced
desktop size on the second screen.

The normal sections of oOo like the menus and toolbars are unaffected of this
problem.

This leads to the fact that an A4 page is at 50 % zoom about
610 pixels in horizontal size and
   550 pixels in vertical size at a resolution of 1280 x 1024

Therefore the quality for editing texts, tables ... is not guaranteed any more.
It's terrible.

Configuration
=============
XFree 4.0.3
Matrox Millennium G450
mgadrivers-2.1
mgapdesk-1.00-7beta

Problem wasn´t reproducible when using a more recent build like RC4 on
a RedHat DualHead with a resolution of 1280 x 1024. We didn´t use
mgapdesk-1.00-7beta but entered the appropiate settings into the
XF86Config. So maybe mgapdesk-1.00-7beta may cause the problems.
Please check.
