I am using openoffice.org for private and offical purposes.

When sending out emails with the mail merge assistant openoffice.org sometimes crashes. 
In that situation I would like to be able to copy the list of adresses that have been treated so far.

Copy and paste would help enormously to check to whom an email has been send allready.

It would be a good idea as well, if the rule for data ordering would be shown too. It seems to me that it is not the same rule as have been set in the data source.

Can you provide more information about the crashes?  Can you reliably reproduce such a crash?

Unfortunately I can not reproduce the errors, simply because the adresses where customers adresses, I can not send out emails again and again.

This was the setting:
A pdf-form was to be created including pdf-form fields and Openoffice.org mail merge fields. In the document there was a salutation (error-pronely created with the help(?) of the mail-merge assistant) and the name of the customer.
With this pdf-document was a short text to be send including again salutation and name as simple text message.

A first test run worked well using only 3 lines of adress data.
In the following the real run with 100 lines stopped after about 60 lines saying that a temp fils was not to be found. When I klicked the okay button the process seemingly continued just to stop with the same type of error dialog again and again. Eventually it halted with application error an I had to restart the application again.

I was not able to find out where these temp files where to be produced and if so at all.

Again, it would have been a great support for my work, if only I would have been able to copy and paste the list of what had been sent out so far.

I had to send out a second simpler email with not pdf envolved, containing just salutation and name. This job worked smothly and fast.

Finally I had but to discover that some of the created pdf-forms had changed there appearance, because obviously the salutation-assistant had changed all paragraphs to list-elements now all starting with a -, which is surely not what you want in a business letter.

Because this issue is marked as ENHANCEMENT the intention of the OP is not in first case to reproduce and fix the error.

I understand the description of the problem as follow:
If emails are sent by the mail merge assistant there should be created a log  file with the addresses of the recipients, for which is successfully created an email.

If occur a crash any reason why, the user can send emails again only to recipients which are not in the log file.

(Hope my English is understandable.)

Comment 2 seems only describing the situation which the user intend to the enhancement. The last sentence of comment 2 link to another problem that should be discussed separately.
