Comment 2 zhaoshzh 2014-03-07 06:28:19 UTC
can be reproduce in ubuntu 13.10 x86_86
AOO 4.1 rev:1574101
Comment 3 Andre 2014-03-07 08:31:03 UTC
@zhaoshzh: I can not reproduce this problem but I am not sure what "refer to the attachment and the video" means.

What is the expected/wrong button status, that it is not active after a change or that it is active after the save?

Is it reproducible on other platforms than Linux (Hardware still lists all)?
Comment 4 zhaoshzh 2014-03-17 02:22:57 UTC
if file is saved, the status of 'save' button should be set to gray.
Comment 5 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2014-03-20 14:54:30 UTC
I am not clear how to reproduce the described defect as I do not know, what is meant by "refer to the attachment and the video"

@zhaoshzh:
Could you provide improved information. Thx in advance
Comment 6 James Allen Haynes 2014-03-25 17:48:35 UTC
Could not reproduce in PC Windows 7.
AOO Beta 4.1.0 rev: 1573601

Save button status is accurate.
Comment 7 Rainer Bielefeld 2014-03-29 07:06:53 UTC
NOT Reproducible with server installation of "AOO 4.1.0-dev – English UI / German locale - [AOO410m14(Build:9760) - Rev. 1577236 2014-03-15]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile.

Something what might be related: When I open document with above mentioned version (From AOO Starc Center, AOO File Menu) the 'Save' icon becomes active immediately after the document has been opened. With AOO 4.0.1 the Save icon stays inactive until the first modification.

@zhaoshzh
Unfortunately information you contributed is much to imprecise to reproduce your problem.

Please add all information requested in following:
c) Contribute a document related step by step instruction containing every
  key press and every mouse click how to reproduce your problem
  "REFER" to "THE video" is much to unclear. What does "refer" mean? You insert
  a hyperlink? Via menu or icon? Or whatever?
e) if possible contribute an instruction how to create a sample document
  from the scratch
f) add information
  f1) what EXACTLY is unexpected
  f2) and WHY do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation!)
  f3) concerning your PC (video card, ...)
  f4) concerning your Operating System (Version, Distribution, Language)
  f5) concerning your AOO version (with Build/revision ID if it's not a
     public release) and localization (UI language, Locale setting)
  f6) AOO settings that might be related to your problems
     (video hardware acceleration, ...)
  f7) how you launch AOO and how you opened the sample document
  f8) Whether your problem persists after you have renamed your user profile
     (Quit Quickstart before!) before you launch AOO (please see
     <https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/How_Tos/Handling_the_OpenOffice.org_User_Profile>
     <https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/User_Profile#Mac_OS_X>
  f9) Whether that worked in former OOO / AOO Versions

Please do not cite these hints in your reply, but cite the items like:
f7): Desktop-icon for soffice.exe / AOO File menu -> Open

This effect has vanished with server installation of "AOO 4.1.0-dev – English UI / German locale - [AOO410m14(Build:9760) - Rev. 1582709 2014-03-30]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile.
