Particular document looses Style "First page" for page 1 with 'File-> Send -> "Document as E-Mail"

Created attachment 83316 [details] Before sending and after sending out of OOo When sending a document out of OpenOffice Writer direct via Menupoints File -> Send -> Document as email, the Receiver of the Mail get the document in several parts destroyed. This behaviour is at least visible in version 4.01 and 4.1 Thunderbird is used as Mailprogramm. See attachement: - Page 1 format destroyed - Some values disappeared (page value of page 2) - Wrong calculation (last page) of the values, but this is not visible in this example, but happened several times.
Confirmed with AOO410m18(Build:9764) - Rev. 1589052 2014-04-22 12:11 - Linux x86_64 Icedove 24.4 Debian

I did not find the "Some values disappeared (page value of page 2)" in "Received.odt". Of course I see the missing "Reference" Item in Navigator, but no visible difference. Because I can not check whether there is a common root I reduce this one to the Page Style problem for now. Page Style problem is Reproducible with Seamonkey Mail Client, Reporter's sample document "AOO 4.1.0 Release – German UI / German locale [AOO410m18(Build:9764) - Rev. 1589052 2014-04-22 11:43:54]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4. User Profile used for all predecessor versions: 0. From AOO Start Center open "BeforeSending.odt" 1. Menu 'File -> Send -> Document as E-Mail' > Latest version of Document as visible in AOO becomes attachment of a new E-Mail in Seamonkey E-Mail-Client 2. Open Attachment in Seamonkey E-Mail-Client by double click > Document will be opened, damages as below (a) Bug: irst page no longer has Style "First Page", but "Default", what causes the hidden big logo and may be other damages. (b) Not a general problem, a self created minimum contents document did not show the problem (c) Currently I haven't a clue for the reasons of the Style loss, some more research will be required. @Beri: (d) Any idea what in your document might cause the trouble? Can you create a new document from the scratch an tell what contents causes the trouble? (e) Please tell a short hint how I can see the missing Reference problem in document page 2 so that I can decide whether that problem is related
(f) Problem seems not related to protected pictures in Page Header
(g) Already Reproducible with server installation of "AOO 3.4.0 – German UI / German locale [AOO340m1(Build:9590) - Rev.1327774]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile (h) Was still ok with OOo 3.3.0, OOo 2.0.2 (i) Not a fileopen problem: "Received.odt" shows the problem when opened with OOo 2.0.2 although sending document with this version does not show the problem (k) I observe that with affected Versions some contents on page 1 around "VP-Kurz-Gutachten" and the vanishing Page reference on page 2 become selected (highlighted) during the send process. Might be related? (l) Currently only WIN7 really confirmed (m) seems to be a special save-export problem? (n) Also affected: 'Send -> Document as Open Document Text' e): To see the Reference in menu 'View -> Nonprinting Characters = ON' @Beri (o) What WIN do you use?
How to reproduce with a new document 1. Open New document (Neues dokument erstellen) 2. Change to page template page 1 (die erste Seite als Seitenvorlage "Erste Seite markieren" 3. On Format, Page Do header size 7.2 (Kopfzeile einschalten unter Format, Seite, Höhe 7.2) 4. set picture inside (bild nun in die Kopfzeile kopieren) 5. In textfield write at least 2 lines (im Textfeld 2 zeilen) 6. Mark first line as hidden text (maybe hidden format has to be made anew (nun die erste Zeile als hidden text markieren... Format Hidden Text muss evtl. erstellt werden. Ich verwende windows 7
It can be done even simpler... 1. open writer (or a new document) (Writer öffnen) 2. Important! select on page template this page as page 1 ( Seitenvorlage muss nun als "Erste Seite" selektiert werden... 3. Write something in the header 4. Write two lines and set the first line as hidden text (add a new format for this and set it as hidden ( nun zwei zeilen schreiben und die erstere als per neu erstellter Absatzvorlage (welche Schrifteffekte als ausgeblendet selektiert hat) selektieren. Thats all... now it sends allready wrong.. Thanks for your impressive help...
I can confirm this behaviour for Linux. If I select "Send" I can watch that hidden paragraphs are being selected and deleted. With the deletion of the first paragraph its format setting for the page break with page style is also lost.
