Description TAB 2014-05-21 13:26:10 UTC
By default, Calc assigns key f5 to TraceDependents, and f7 to TracePrecedents. This is counter-intuitive; f5 appears BEFORE f7 on the keyboard, and Precedents usually (and logically) appear BEFORE Dependents in the spreadsheet.

My "AOO 4.0.1 – German UI / German locale [AOO401m3(Build:9712) - Rev. 1520285 2013-09-05 13:52:01]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", Common 4.0 User Profile uses
<f5>: Navigator on/off
<f7>: Spellcheck
What are we talking about <shift+f5> and <shift+f7>

Request souds plausible, but users who are used to current assignment would hate us for that change. Without additional reasons we should not do that.

Yes,I meant <shift+f5> and <shift+f7>. Sorry.

'users who are used to current assignment would hate us for that change'
Maybe not, once they realize the logic behind it.
Besides, they won't see the change until they re-install or update OO.
And, many may already have (as I did) customized their kbd to assign shift+f5 to Trace Precedents, shift+f7 to Trace Dependents.
