Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 125046
Color palette no longer accessible for table, paragraph, page borders
Last modified: 2015-01-01 14:37:10 UTC
Created attachment 83500 [details] Screenshot of missing color palette Color palatte is no longer accessible for table borders. Instead only on single color "user" is shown. Steps to reproduce: (1) Open an empty text document (2) Insert a table (3) Open "Table Format" dialog and select "Border" tab The missing color palette is shown in attached screenshot, see red box. The problem appears on Mac OS X 10.9.2 with OpenOffice 4.2 revision 1600106 from trunk. It may be exist on Windows as well as on Linux too. The problem has been introduced during the commits to trunk this week or last week.
I see the error too with AOO420m1(Build:9800) - Rev. 1599676 on Windows 7 32bit. The border of a paragraph shows the same error in the dialog. The color palette from the icon is correct, only the drop-down list in the dialog is faulty.
Also Reproducible with "AOO 4.2.0-Dev – German UI / German locale [AOO420m1(Build:9800) - Rev. 1599676 2014-06-04]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4. User Profile used for all predecessor versions for (a) Writer Paragraph borders (as mentioned in Comment 1) and Page border Picture and object borders (c) Not affected: Calc Cell borders Draw / Impress Tables (d) For affected objects in Writer also shadow color will not work
Probably fixed with commit of r1600568 (i124638 Corrected relationship between DrawModel and DocShell in Writer, made SwDrawModel and handling more known), already saw this this week. Reason was that the ColrTable was not available as SfxPoolItem at the DocShell (where it is needed for toolbar controls and some others).
Retested successfully, thanks for fixing
