Very poor explanations.
If you want some help, you must provide a file and a step-by-step procedure to reproduce your problem.

Impress presentation, Powerpoint presentation, and screenshots

1. Open the attached impress.odp presentation.
2. On the first slide, type text into the body of the slide.
3. Before clicking anywhere, notice that the preview of the slide in the Slides on the left is only displaying the original title, not the text you added to the body. See attached screenshot labelled step3.
4. Now click somewhere else in the program. Notice that the preview of the slide in the Slides section on the left has updated. See attached screenshot labelled step4.
5. Instead of the body of the first slide, try any field on any of the slides. The example presentation includes all the slide templates. The result is the same.

I’ve been able to reproduce this bug on an Apple machine running Mac OS X 10.10.1 and OpenOffice 4.1.1. If this is the same bug Aravinth saw, he was seeing it on a Windows 8 PC running OpenOffice 4.1.0.

I was expecting the preview of the slide in the Slides section to update before you click anywhere else in the document. Trying the same series of steps with the attached powerpoint.pptx in Powerpoint; the preview on the left updates as you’re typing.
