Created attachment 84814 [details] File containing errors (Complain, complain, complain. All I do is complain.) Document included. References are to this document. 1: All frames containing a drawing show the drawing separate from the frame. See 15.1.1 Introduction, 15.4.3.2 Custom Test Driver, 15.4.3.2.2 Test Harness to Custom Test Driver Interface 2: Table border density not the same as in odt document. Sometimes the border is missing, sometimes it is at a different density. See 15.1.6 Conventions, 15.2.1.3 Global Test Variables, 15.4.1 All Parallel Test Harness Variables, 15.4.3.1 Default Parallel Test Driver 3: Table header scrambled. See 15.4.3.1 Default Parallel Test Driver, TEST header does not correctly merge vertically. :test-result: should be shifted to the next cell. $: Courier New:10 sometimes displayed as Courier New: 6? (<< 10) See 15.2 Test Harness, 15.4.1 All Parallel Test Harness Variables, 15.4.2 Parallel Test Harness, and so on. 5: Times New Roman:12 sometimes displayed as Times New Roman :9 (?). AOO411m6 | Build ID 9775 | SVN r1617669 | English OS: Windows 7 32-bit Processor: AMD Turion II Dual-Core Mobile M500 2.20 GHz RAM: 3.00 GB Locale: English I was able to replicate parts of this bug by doing the following: 1. Downloading file provided by original reporter 2. Open file in OO 3. Go up to the main tool bar, click File 4. Go down drop-down and click Preview in Web Browser 5. File opened in default browser (in my case Chrome) 6. Went through original reporter's list of failures, checked each one in the web browser against how they appeared in the document in OO (visual check of compare and contrast) From this I could visually confirm that: Drawings inside frames do appear outside of frame in web page preview Some borders do not show up Some border densities are not the same as in OO document Table header for table 15.4.3.1 does not format the same way as in OO document From this I could not visually confirm that: There was a difference in the font sizes from the OO document to the web page preview. With both the OO zoom and Chrome zoom set to 100%, I could not see a difference. I then made my own OO document with tables that had different border densities, fonts, font sizes, and formatting as well a frame with a drawing in it. It is attached above. Then I followed the same steps above and produced the same results. Then I performed a couple follow-up tests using both the original document and my document: 1. Changed the browser in which the preview opened the OO document to Firefox 2. Changed the browser in which the preview opened the OO document to Explorer Findings for follow-up tests: 1. Changed browser to Firefox Original Document: Produced almost the same result as when using Chrome for web page preview. Only difference was that there is now a visual difference in font sizes in tables in sections 15.1.8 and 15.1.10. Font of some table entries appear smaller than other entries in the same table. My Document: Same results as original document. 2. Changed browser to Explorer Original Document: Same results as when using Firefox. My Document: Same results as original document.

Windows 7 Professional Edition (64-bit) Service Pack 1 (Build 7601) Chrome Version 57.0.2987.133 OO: AOO420m1(Build:9800) - Rev. 1785175 Memory (RAM) 32GB CPU Info Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6820HQ CPU @ 2.70GHz Display Adapters Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 | NVIDIA GeForce 940MX | RDPDD Chained DD | RDP Encoder Mirror Driver | RDP Reflector Display Driver Monitors 1x; Wide viewing angle & High density FlexView Display 2560x1440 | Screen Resolution 1707 X 960 - 32 bit I could reproduce some of the mentioned problems. Steps to reproduce: 1. Download attached document. 2. Open the file in OO. 3. Go to Menu \ File \ Preview in Web Browser 4. Compare visually the differences. Here is my outcome for the 5 points of the problem: 1. I confirm that "All frames containing a drawing show the drawing separate from the frame." (Same goes for a newly created document) 2. Tables: I confirm that "Table border density not the same as in odt document" vs Chrome. "Sometimes the border is missing" - In some cases it's OK, for me. It looks like OO shows the border just in the editors view. Yet, if you go to the File \ Preview - the border will be missing as well. As they are set as transparent. Table 15.4.1 - Between OO edit & preview modes - everything is OK. Yet. In Chrome - transparent border for the 1st cell is shown as a normal border. Not Transparent. Table 15.4.2.1 border seems to look different in all 3 views: in Chrome, OO edition mode and OO preview mode. Table Border 15.4.3.1 - looks like border for one cell is missing. And that's because in the Browser view - the grouping / merge of the cells, shifted left one cell (for the web view). In Chrome: ":test-result:" cell is now under the "Test" cell. Not under the "Test Results File output". Table 15.4.3.1 - Looks OK between OO edit and preview modes - looks consistent. Yet. Not to the Chrome browser preview. 3. Headers: 15.4.3.1 - looks like not an issue with a header but with a cell merge. And is described above. 4. Font size: A) I've checked few "Courier New" lines - and could not found the difference between Chrome and OO view. It could be a help to describe, by reporter, specific phrase or a word, which is displayed differently. And / or attache the image. (Even in 1 place alike "15.2") B) 15.2.1.3 - it looks like "Times New Roman 12" in chrome is shown as "Times New Roman;serif 14". Checked by copying text from Chrome into the new OO document (and existing document). As for the remaining font differences - it would make it easy to test & compare if a specific phrase is mentioned. Not only the name of the chapter. It is challenging to go through 57 page long document and pay attention to all the details at once. Follow-Up Tests: Checked the same steps with a new document Created by me. Text font in table become Serif. "Times New Roman" vs "Times New Roman;serif". Empty vs "Aha" cell border is different in OO vs Chrome. Image is shown apart the frame. When I used "Insert \ Frame". Expand the frame. And draw figures and shapes in the frame. And preview the document.

I can confirm that the formatting errors mentioned in the comment 2 and 3 are present also for all above mentioned configurations. I used the file provided in the original report for the testing and created my own file. New formatting error found: - Numbered Headings 1, 2, 3 are interpreted without indent in the Web Preview Follow-up test: - Check the Numbered Headings display using a new created file for the different fonts Please see my detailed report including screenshots in the attached file
