Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 126654
Cells in hidden columns are excluded from a chart
Last modified: 2017-04-08 17:47:23 UTC
A scatter plot refers to a column of data for its second series of 'Y' values. When the column is hidden by right-clicking the column title and selecting 'Hide', the graphical depiction of the data is also removed from the plotted chart.
Show the column. Double-click chart to switch to edit mode. Select the data series, which belongs to this column. Open its format dialog (context menu or 'Format selection'-icon). Find the checkbox 'Include values from hidden cells' on the 'Options'-tab. Check it. OK. Back to the table hide the column. Notice, that the values are still shown in the chart. Because it is not usual, that hidden values are shown in the chart, this checkbox is off as default.
