Description issues@www 2001-07-19 08:02:54 UTC
I have got a bit of a problem when attaching files to an issue, because it's
obligatory to define the filetype and there is not filetype for WORD .doc files
or for Writer files and I don't knoe the MIME code for them.

Hi Oliver,

Thank you for your input. Additional MIME type listings have been suggested to
us for Issuezilla, including those you have mentioned, and are being tracked
internally as pcn2971 on our product roadmap. I will post any further
information regarding the inclusion of additional MIME types to issue 598.

The MIME type for .doc files is application/msword and application/octet-stream
can be used for other binary files.
A guide to various MIME types can be found at:
http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/en/guide/cgi/mimetype.html

Thank you
Kat

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate
issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is
unfortunately to set them to verified.
