Description issues@www 2001-07-24 11:26:48 UTC
I want to know if it is possible to get a link in api/www/common/xml-
format/xml_specification_draft.pdf -> to xml/www/xml_specification_draft.pdf.
So if I checkout api/www I want automatically get the
xml_specification_draft.pdf in the appropriate directory. I need this file to
build our development kit automatically in the normal build process and I want
always the newest version.

Hi,

I spoke with one of our cvs developers to clear this up. Since cvs does
directory based locking, linking files in two seperate directories could lead to
file corruption if/when updates are made to the files. It is not advisable nor
in his opinion will accomplish your objectives.

Thank you
Kat

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate
issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is
unfortunately to set them to verified.
