Description stx123 2001-07-25 18:08:02 UTC
It seems that a substring search is used, so that not only "st" is found but
also "guest", ...

The string that is passed to IZ is username@domain. In this case, it
passed st@openoffice.inst.collab.net. It only returned issues which
reference st@openoffice.inst.collab.net. This may include issues in which
you are named as owner, reporter, cc, qa contact or commenter.

I tried to replicate by creating a user named j. I then requested "My Issues"
while logged in as user j. If a substring query were being performed, all
names containing the letter 'j' should have been returned - but nothing
was.

Because you were returned issues assigned to guest, I believe the
reported behavior is related to 1378, so I am marking this as a duplicate.

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate
issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is
unfortunately to set them to verified.
