Open killerfile.html (attached) Goto 4th last line (xxxxxuxxxx) Erase two lines by pressing backspace (<-) 26 times. Crash

I was unable to reproduce your crash with ooo1.0.3 on red hat 8. Can you try it with OpenOffice1.1beta and see if it's still a problem?
The first seems fixed in OOo-1.0.3. The new two attachments are not: Go to the last line ending in "DELETE WITH BACKSPACE". Delete the 4 lines by holding down backspace. *crash*

On an NT-windows crashes OO1.0.3 when deleting with backspace. The bug does not seem to be abundant in OO1.1beta. Flemming Bjerke
I cannot try OpenOffice 1.1beta as it will not compile on my system (Gentoo Linux). The compile problem seems to be a know bug.
Not everybody compiles openoffice to install it. What happens when you try to download and install the precompiled openoffice1.1beta?
Joost->Frank: reproducible hangup with the second file using ooo1.0.3. Not reproducible in current dev-tree... Defining target OOo1.0.4
JA: changed status to new
Just reminder. target 1.0.4. Now is 1.1 RC4 :)
FME->Utomo: We are currently not working on the 1.0.4 branch. There is no need to send me any reminders, I know my tasks ;-)
OK Frank, In my opinion if the target is 1.0.4 and there is no 1.04. I hope we can include this in 1.1 or 1.1.1. OK, I change to later Thanks
FME->Utomo: According to the statements made in this issue, the bug is _not_ reproducible in the current 1.1 branch (can you confirm this?). Therefore the target has been set to 1.0.4.
utomo > fme. sorry I cannot tested it, as I use windows, not a linux as reporter. I hope somebody else can confirm it Thanks
WFM using OOo1.1.1b official Linux build from Sun
I tested all three files under Open Office.org 1.1.1 under Linux. Works for ME, so it appear that this issue may have been fixed in the current builds of OOo.
Seems to be solved in 1.1.0 on Linux. Consider it resolved.
there is no more activity on the 1.0.x release, so marking this as RESOLVED/REMIND in case somebody want ta take action on this.
