Description Unknown 2003-04-23 03:56:19 UTC
When text is process for display, it did not use the width of the character
that the font designer state in their font. It may have asume, the width of the
image is the width of a character but the actual may have been less or zero.
Many text process object in Openoffice.org seem to work this way.

"What you see, is what you get!" is great, but if what you see is not what you
expected, you have to stop you project. Process True Type font correctly is a
must.
I am supprise to see Openoffice has this problem.

Does this problem still exist in 1.1 Beta 2?

If so, please provide a document that demonstrates this problem and
list the font that causes this problem.

Closing as invalid as no feedback from reporter in months.
If you still have this problem with 1.1.0 then either reopen this issue or open a new issue
with the relevant data.

Thanks

US->HDU: pls. close as duplicate (you probably have tons of 'zero width
character' issues). Attention this one handles khmer diacritics.
Comment 11 hdu@apache.org 2004-06-24 07:47:15 UTC
The fix for the zero width glyph problem in issue 21821 also fixes this one.
Need to verify once the CWS fontlists02 for target OOo2.0 is integrated into the
master.
