Description stx123 2001-08-02 17:50:07 UTC
URLs for mailing list archives have to be changed on
mailing list page
http://www.openoffice.org/mail_list.html
and project home pages.
The URL seems to be
http://<project>.openoffice.org/servlets/SummarizeList?listName=<listname>
Comment 1 Unknown 2001-08-06 15:56:40 UTC
Handled with an apache rewrite rather than changing URLs, so
that mail messages in people's inboxes will continue to work.
Comment 2 stx123 2001-08-08 18:09:46 UTC
Doesn't work for
all bugs lists (have to be rewritten to issues)
and
graphics all lists
dba all lists
gsl all lists
printing all lists
util all lists
framework all lists

Stefan -

I am having trouble finding where you see broken mail list links. I
can't find any links that aren't redirected correctly.

For instance, from the Graphics list, this seems correct: http://
graphics.openoffice.org/servlets/SummarizeList?listName=
users

Yet you indicate that all graphics lists are broken.

Can you supply originating-page URLs?
Comment 4 stx123 2001-08-08 23:53:10 UTC
graphics.openoffice.org, See mailing list tables at the end of the
home pages.
I now see that the URL used there is
http://graphics.openoffice.org/graphics-cvs (without trailing /)
This worked on t-OOo but isn't covered by the redirection.
The returned error is
Not Found
The requested URL /local-access-only/gsl/www/gsl-dev was not found on
this server.

stefan,
turns out we just have add a trailing slash to the questionable urls.
will do.

Stefan, am fixing this. But first:
I dislike meddling with project leads' pages. But, these cicumstances are unusual, as
the migration introduced errors that we who did it must repair.
So: am notifying all the project leads of this as I am doing it.
