In the old infrastructure, the list names would appear in all mails, such as 
[sw-dev] or [discuss]. The new infrastructure apparently doesn't do that, 
causing my email filters to not recognize any mailing list mails.

accepted and am working on it.
solution is to edit each project's mailing list and insert by tedious hand the dull name 
of the boring project so as to inform the masses of the provenance of the mail 
message.

I have resolved this for all lists in the www & whiteboard project. I have not done this 
for the particular projects. Will do so on a continuing basis.

done for all OOo projects, but not for all marginal projects, such as the test ones.

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved
<wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details.
