When using the mouse-wheel for scrolling the word processor often crashes. The 
crash causes 100% CPU-usage of X (version 4.2.1 on Debian sid). Keyboard and 
mouse are blocked. Only a "kill -9" of X over an ssh-session can bring the system back 
into a usable status. Priority is 5 because the crash is very problematic and occurs very 
often.

Does the problem still occur in OpenOffice1.1beta2?
If so, I'll get myself a mouse wheel and try to reproduce it here.

If X crashes, then it's an X bug, not an OO bug.
Please report this bug to your Linux distributor or X vendor.
