Here are the new splash screen and about box graphics for 1.1 (see discuss list 
for discussion). The splash screen has "Beta 2" in the corner: I'll submit 
another graphic in time for the next release. The about box has no version 
information so should be fine for 1.1.

Size and format is the same for 1.0, but please let me know if something else 
would be preferred.

Hi
the splash scree w/ OSI mark is quite nice but the OSI mark is not really relevant on 
that screen.  I'd much rather just have it on the website.  OSI certifies licensing for a 
project and the source and so yes it is accurate but it mainly is there to indicate that 
the particular license merits open source stamp of approval (not FSF's).

So, let's remove the OSI mark.

After a vote on the discuss list regarding the OSI logo, I have
uploaded a revised splash screen for 1.1b2 with the OSI logo removed.
Please be sure to use this revised graphic! The about box is
unchanged. Thanks, Lee.
