Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 14385
printout of C5-envelope is shifted
Last modified: 2003-10-31 18:49:15 UTC
I used to print addresses on C5-envelopes with OpenOffic.org 1.0.1. Everything worked properly. In OpenOffice.org 1.1 Beta the printout of the same document is shifted about half a centimeter to the top and one line of text is missing. I played around with font substitution and page settings but I didn't manage to print out the envelope correctly with 1.1 Beta. I will attach the document, the postscript files and scans of the printout (no fear the file are very small). Samuel

I am using SuSE Linux 8.1, ghostscript 7.05 and the HP OfficeJet G55. I have also difficulties to open the attached postscript files with ghostview (also on SuSE Linux 7.3). Ghostview crashes! I can convert the postscript files with ps2pdf and then open them with the Acrobat Reader. The pdf-file from OOo 1.1 Beta looks shifted like when printed. But there is no text missing. Best Regards Samuel

I created another very simple document that causes problem when printed. The paper format is C5 and the left and right margin is set to 1 cm. About 8 mm of text at the right side is cutted when printed out. I observed this problem in OOo 1.0.1 and OOo 1.1RC.

Hi Samuel -- Is this behavior still present in 1.1.0? Thanks, Tam
Hi Tam, yes the problem still exists in 1.1.0. Regards Samuel
