Description michael.bemmer 2001-08-09 06:32:26 UTC
On http://www.openoffice.org/project_issues.html there's a link titled "You can
also see a summary of issue-tracking activity for the current week". Before the
upgrade that lead to a report where the owner of tasks where listed including
the IssueID and a statistic about the stati of the issues. Now the link only
leads to the query kitchen.
The summary was very useful and necessary for me to monitor the issue handling
of my team -> P1.
The strange think is that I've definitely written this issue before, but I can't
find it!

The kitchen is the report configurer. Apparently, the parameters
have changed from the old version to the new, so the hard-
coded parameters that the link is passing aren't recognized by
the kitchen.

You should configure this yourself so it gives you the report you
want. Here is one suggestion for the link: http://
www.openoffice.org/issues/reports.cgi?component=-All-&
output=most_recently_doomed&links=1&banner=1&quip=0 to
return the most-recent doomed issues for all components.
Unfortunately, I never saw the old one, so I'm not sure exactly
which information you are looking for from that link.

The link is bad and needs changing. I will be happy to change
the link to whatever you wish (just let me know), or if you prefer,
you guys can change it yourselves. However, there is no broken
functionality here, so I am downgrading this issue to a P3 defect
for a broken link.

Changing the summary.
Comment 3 michael.bemmer 2001-08-10 16:25:01 UTC
Jeff, I played around with the query kitchen. The link before the
upgrade seemed to have the following parameters:

- Components: All
- Output: Issue Counts
- Switches: both "Links to issues" and "banner" checked.

Would be great if you could assign this to the link again.

Reassigning to Louis.

Louis, please point the offending link to http://
www.openoffice.org/issues/reports.cgi?component=-All-&
output=most_doomed&links=1&banner=1&quip=0

Much obliged.
