Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 14499
Page down in Style Catalog doesn't always highlight style
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:29:23 UTC
Steps: 1) Open the Style Catalog. 2) In the dropdown list, choose a type of style where there are a significant number of items. List styles or All styles works. 3) Shift-Tab to return to the list of styles. 4) Press PageDown twice. Observed: Although the list has scrolled, no visible item is highlighted. Expected: The highlighted item would be visible. Notes: It appears that the problem is that the number of items scrolled doesn't match up well with the number that PageDown jumps. If you scroll up with the scrollbar after step 4, you do find a highlighted item.
Confirmed. Duplicated on Windows 2000 OOo beta 2.
SBA: It's not needed to get into the window with <TAB>. Using <PAGE UP> and <PAGE DOWN> several times shows this too. It DOES select and highlights a style but it is not visible because the stylist window doesn't always scroll correctly.
SBA: According to the OpenOffice.org roadmap http://tools.openoffice.org/releases this issue was retargeted to OOo Later.
