Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 1453
"Started" is not an acceptable status for a bug that has merely been accepted
Last modified: 2021-05-27 19:28:20 UTC
Before the sourcecast upgrade, a bug that had been accepted got the status "accepted", now somebody changed that to "started", which we think is not acceptable. "started" suggests that fixing is in progress, which very often is not true, where "accepted" only means that the proper owner is assigned to the bug. I cannot even see that this change had been discussed and agreed on anywhere. From a developer standpoint this might be an enhancement, that's why I report this issue as such, I'd call it a bug :-)
I think the status in Tigris IZ was called "assigned", that's similar to accepted and still different to "started". (changed subcomponent to Upgrade)

Reassigning all of kat's open issues to support so that I can go through them.
New internal issue number: PCN7017. Target milestone: 1.3.
Correcting Status Whiteboard. This is actually resolved in *Scarab*, our next-generation issue-tracking system, which is going to first be available with SourceCast 1.3.
please close with status resolved/later as it is resolved in the new version of issuezilla called scarab
I will in this case, but in future please set the state and status whiteboard yourself. I we feel a need for an earlier solution, we will reopen. Thanks, Stefan.
Updating whiteboard.
CollabNet Support is currently reviewing the issues under Resolved-Later. If the issues are fixed currently in any of the present CEE releases, then it will be marked as Resolved-Fixed. There might be a few issues which might not be in our future roadmaps which might be closed as Wontfix unless it does not lie under any custom request.
This feature is already available in Project Tracker , the successor of IZ.
