Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 1461
No mean to detect all users which have a specific role
Last modified: 2021-05-27 19:28:22 UTC
I would like to remove the role "domain developer" and for that I would like to know who currently has this role. There seems to be no way to see all users with a given role.
Stefan - There is no dedicated aggregator of users by roles. It is on our product roadmap currently. For this instance you can monitor the audit logs (http:// www.openoffice.org/servlets/AuditLogList). If you filter the list of entries with 'Domain Developer' you'll see the entries where I add permissions to the role. There is one entry for granting the role, which i did for mtg - and you've already revoked it. He's the only one. As this is not a defect for the current product, but an enhancement request (already duplicated internally at Collab) I am going to close this issue, marking RESOLVED LATER.
As the Audit Log has been truncated it can't be used for that purpose. Any estimates for which SC release this is planned?
reassigned
re-assigning to kat to track.
This is being tracked internally as enhancement request pcn6629. As soon as I have more information about what release it is sceduled for, I will let you know. Thank you Kat
Reassigning all of kat's open issues to support so that I can go through them.
Our Product Management group reports that this is being rolled into a re-examination of role administration which is being planned for our next major upcoming release, code-name Danube.
If the list would give not only usernames but also email addresses the list could be used for statistical purposes (community developers <-> sun developers)
moving to appropriate subcomponent.
please close with status resolved/later as it is resolved in the Danube release
I will in this case, but in future please set the state and status whiteboard yourself. I we feel a need for an earlier solution, we will reopen. Thanks, Stefan.
resolved/later in Danube.
Support, is it still valid that this issue will be fixed in Danube? If yes, please confirm by setting the target milestone.
Stefan, I don't see this enhancement available in Danube. Updating the SWB accordingly.
Updating the whiteboard and the target milestone .

Hi This feature is fixed in Rubicon and I have verified the same on a test box carrying the latest version. I shall close this case for now. Please feel free to re-open, if the functionality does not satisfy your expectation when site gets upgraded to Rubicon version of CEE. Regards, Vathsan Support Operations.
CollabNet Support is currently reviewing the issues under Resolved-Later. If the issues are fixed currently in any of the present CEE releases, then it will be marked as Resolved-Fixed. There might be a few issues which might not be in our future roadmaps which might be closed as Wontfix unless it does not lie under any custom request.
Marking it as fixed since it is available in CEE 5.0
