It would be of great help in document formating if one could easily insert and
delete columns when there is one or more merged cells in range.
Instead of having to unmerge cells, delete (or insert) row (or column), and then
having to re-merge cells again, this can take a while if ther are several merged
cells in editing range.
By the way Great Work with OOo 1.1Beta2 progress is noticeble. Keep up the Good
Work ! :-)

I think that issue 8302 is about the same thing.

Should be fixed for the V2.0...

The same issue was not yet addressed in OOo 2.0 beta2 CALC. It slows down the
work when editing forms using spreadsheet

this issue and 8302 really are about the same thing, but they're both still open

closing one of the two or marking one as a duplicate could help

please note that there are 21 votes for this issue and 4 for issue 8302

It is a duplicate of issue 8302
So, this one (the newer one) should be closed.
