Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 14997
Forms using JDBC display the time portion as 23:59:59
Last modified: 2006-05-31 14:29:06 UTC
This is one of those problems that is intermittant but annoying. When connecting with JDBC to either MySQL or Postgresql data sources using JDBC, the time text box for date fields displais 23:59:59. Closing and reopening the form usually resets it. Using JRE 1.4.1_2 and OpenOffice 1.1 Beta.
Kirk, what kind of form are we talking about? Is the form on a valid record, and does display the current record improperly, or is the form on a new record, and the 23:59:59 is the "default" value being displayed?
Created attachment 6530 [details] gif screenshot showing the problem
Ok, to explain a bit more. I have a huge database of records with a timestamp field. Obtained through the JBDC postgresql connector. The timestamps show up ok in the data browser, but not in a datasheet control on the form. I'll attach a screenshot.
I can reproduce this -> FS: It's important that you have a timestamp field in you table.
was a problem in the conversion of timestamp values in the JDBC driver .... fixed in CWS dba08
KA: changed target milestone
