Description Unknown 2003-05-28 09:22:25 UTC
When installing Open Office 1.1Beta2 over an earlier copy of Open Office, the
old copy of the short cut is not removed from Start Up. This is because the new
short cut has a different name.
As a result, Open Office start up is run twice. This leads to a blank writer
file been open everytime you log in.

OOo is not intended to be installed over an older version. Therefor we
don't have a function to remove older OOo start menu entries of other
OOo installations. You have to uninstall older OOo versions and
install OOo in a new/empty folder.
