Immediately after accepting the License Agreement, I get this error message:
SETUP caused an exception e06d7363H in module MSVCRT.DLL at 0177:7800a6ff.

I close the error message window and then the setup program closes also.
The C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSVCRT.DLL file's version is 6.00.8797.0.
I tried a couple more times with the same result.

BTW, I checked on Microsoft's website and I couldn't find any _newer_ 
versions of MSVCRT.DLL available to download.

I can't reproduce with an older version: 6.00.8397.0 I will attach
this file. Please retry with the older file. Please attach your
msvcrt.dll also so I can cross check.

I reproduced this on another machine that is similarly configured to 
the original.  The main differences, that seem to be applicable, are 
that the second machine has MS Office 97 SR-2 installed on it and had 
msvcrt.dll version 6.00.8397.0 already on the machine.  The first 
machine has MS Office 2000 SR-1 (9.0.2831) installed.  MS Office 
probably updated the msvcrt.dll files on installation.  (They are not 
my computers so I'm not sure)  But since it crashed on both, then the 
file version might not be the problem.
I suspect that one of the programs that I didn't close before 
installing may be part of the problem.  Will check more on that 
later....
On the second machine, I used Dr. Watson to get more info on the 
crash and I will attach the (compressed) Log file for your analysis.
