hi!
my suggestion is to implement a new feature called "standard export
format" under Tools|Options|Load/Save, similar to the already
existing "standard file format".
in the new box the user can define which file formats should be used
in each application _by default_ when exporting. for example, in
draw the user could define "JPG", or in write it could be "PDF", etc.
