There is no clear distinction between presentation backgrounds and templates. This makes setting up 
templates very difficult, because everything you have is a presentation and you have to know which 
role (i.e. background, ...) it plays.

latest versions of OOo, as the problem(s) may have already been addressed.

my owner to the owner "requirements".
