In slideshow mode, redrawing blocks user input. Even if the memory settings 
are dramatically increased, the redrawing takes very long. Due to that, 
quickly browsing through the slides is impossible.

This has been tested on Win XP and Linux (debian 3.x).

Smooth stepping in both directions through the slides is essential for 
business use.

Even stepping back and forth (to get whole file loaded) doesn't 
decrease loading time.

That problem has to be handled as performance issue in Oo.o 2.0.

I changed the priority to 2, since prio 1 has just a meaning for
crashes, freezes etc..

Hello mKirchhof, several performance bugs have been fixed in the meanwhile,
especially for Unix. That problem should be solved in principle. Due to a lot of
bugfixes in this area I close this one. If you should nevertheless realise such
a problem, please file defects to the QA. Thank you.
