I have a word(word xp) document that paper is A4,but use the OpenOffice open 
it,paper size is Letter.

Please Attach the documents which make this problem, so we can test it.  
(Without the documents, we cannot confirm the problem easily)
Don't forget to cut other part of the documents, so the file size is
small, but we still able to see the problem.

Please try using the latest OpenOffice 1.1 Final , you can download it
from www.openoffice.org
many bug fixes and enhancements since your version and 1.1 Final . If
the problem still happend in 1.1 please report back

Does this happen with all your Word documents? Or only with one of them? If only
with one (ore some) the please attach the offending file to this issue.
otherwise we won't be able to reproduce the problem.
