Given the maturity of OOo I think that there really should be word count options
available by now ! A bare minimum should be an ongoing word count (next to "STD"
and "HYP" on the status bar) and the ability to highlight an area as see how
many words it contains (yes, I am doing word limited essays :-) ) preferably in
the status bar as well.
